To be eligible for Medicare rebates a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your doctor is needed prior to your session. Full payment of your clinical psychologist consultation fee is required before a Medicare rebate can be lodged. The current Medicare rebate is $137.05 per session (as of March 2024) for up to 10 sessions in a calendar year with a clinical psychologist at Elevate Psychologists Sydney.

Many private health funds provide rebates for psychological services. Please note you cannot claim from Medicare and your health fund for the same consultation. Please check with your insurer for details.
We request 48 hours prior notice for change of time or cancellation. Per Australian Psychological Society recommendation, appointments changed with less than 24 hours notice will attract the full fee, and those cancelled with 24-48 hours notice will be charged 50%.
Please also note that cancellation fees cannot be claimed through Medicare or your private health fund.
Elevate Psychologists Sydney is not a Medicare bulk billing practice, so there will be an out-of-pocket expense for all appointments.
